Petroflex North America (PNA) purchases current location to confirm headquarters in Gainesville, TX. Founded in 1983 in Gainesville, Texas,  their “no bull pledge”,  made the company a leading extruder of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) duct and accessory products for the irrigation, electric utility, oil & gas, telecommunications, data/voice, renewable energy (wind & solar), and cable television markets.  PNA’s sells products throughout the United States.

Dura-Line completes a $10 million expansion to double production capacity. Dura-line is part of Mexichem, one of the biggest producers of plastic pipe and connections worldwide and one of the largest chemical and petrochemical companies in Latin America.  The company provides polyethylene pipe for the oil and gas production market and became the first manufacturer to develop an innovative conduit for the installation and protection of fiber optic cables.  This is the only facility to manufacturer pipe for both natural gas and fiber optics.   

ORTEQ Energy Technologies plans manufacturing expansion in Gainesville. ORTEQ manufactures and services oilfield equipment used in such oilfield applications as well stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, cementing and water transfer to minimize downtime. The company’s new product line will occupy 20 acres adjoining the current headquarters and manufacturing facility on US Highway 82.

Texas Trailer, A division of Weldship Corp, expanded their manufacturing and repair facilities in 2017. This premier carbon dioxide tube trailer manufacturer and rebuilder in the US, has extensive experience in manufacturing of specialty chemical trailers and storage tanks. Texas Trailer is now a state-of-the-art facility with capabilities for acoustic emission, ultrasonic and hydrostatic testing, painting and maintenance.

Trident Process Systems continues to expand their operation that began in Gainesville in 2015 with 9 employees. Currently employing 80 employees, the fabrication company specializes in the engineering, design, and fabrication of ASME Code process equipment, B31.3 piping skids, and environmental solutions for energy industry customers. Trident provides engineered skidded packages, vessels, piping, and structural skids to the production and midstream sectors. With an over 100,000 SF fabrication facility set up for streamlined manufacturing and an experienced workforce, our core values are providing on time, high quality solutions to our customers safely and with the customer service you deserve.

Trident holds “U” and “R” certifications from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. We are also National Board “NB” certified to construct vessels in strict accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

First State Bank, Texas’ oldest bank, Chartered in 1905, is building a $22 million headquarters to expand their banking operations. The five-story office building will be located on I-35 and US Hwy 82 and will house 150 employees.

Select Energy Services, Inc merges with Rockwater Energy Solutions.  Select Energy, headquartered in Gainesville, TX, is a leading provider of total water solutions to the North American unconventional oil and gas industry.  Select completed its stock-for-stock merger transactions with Rockwater Energy Solutions, Inc. (“Rockwater”) in November 2017.  “The combination of Select and Rockwater creates the undisputed leader in the provision of water-related solutions to the unconventional US shale industry.

Liberty Crossing

Formerly Gainesville Factory Outlet Mall, will become Gainesville’s newest retail destination and all day experience for the entire family. The 315,000-square-foot retail center is located at 4321 Interstate 35, near the Texas-Oklahoma border. Named for the historical legacy of Gainesville, the center will include monthly markets featuring specialty retail shops, food trucks, tasting rooms, a craft brewery and live music.
